It's very cool because it let's you weight the issues you care about.

Though it took a very different path to get there, this quiz worked out almost identically to the quiz I took on MPR (http://minnesota.publicradio.org/projects/ongoing/select_a_candidate/).

Thanks for this, it's one of the best such quizzes I've ever seen, especially in terms of its specificity and in the way it provides the quiz results.

Both quizzes reinforce to me how this particular election year is about so much more than just the issues. That's why Kucinich and Edwards dropped out when they did (Kucinich probably best represents me on the issues but I haven't voted for him since the previous Primary). According to these and other quizzes, I should definitely vote for Mike Gravel. Sorry, Mike, but I'm not campaigning for you. And both of these two quizzes suggest that Hillary edges out Barack in terms of sharing my opinion on the issues. (Although my NUMBER ONE issue is Iraq, and her CURRENT position might be in line with mine but she came to it far too slowly and I really don't trust her as I trust Barack to get us the hell out of there already.) Regardless, beyond the issues are matters of personal integrity, leadership, domestic and international diplomacy, emergence from identity politics, yesterday vs. today, and, yes, who can beat McCain. These mark the true differences between the Democratic candidates, and I'd like to see a quiz figure out how voters might rank the candidates based on those considerations.

very interesting. mike gravel 80% followed very closely by barack. I like how the differences of views are explained (the "find out why" part).
