cold!

Yesterday it was around freezing for most of the day. At night, the temperature dropped. It was dropping by five degrees an hour for a while. At 6:30 this morning it was -10°. Winds are in around 22mph, with gusts to 35.

I finally finished shoveling the driveway last night. It's still a bit narrower than it used to be.

i know! it's too cold to...live. right now, it's minus 3 with wind chill at 25 below. i think no one should be out of doors, that's my rule. (i'm trying to get james to stay home tomorrow. what if the bus breaks down? what if the trains won't work right ('cause they don't when it's freezing) what if what if?)

what if i just shut up and let everyone do their thang? ;)

Thanks for trying but it didn't work! Man that was cold walk. We stood at the corner waiting for the light to change, and there was a wind so strong we had to lean into it, the whole time. Steady. Two lights, actually. It was crazy cold. We were laughing several minutes after we got inside the building because we could hardly believe how bad it was.

I'd much rather be friezing.
