I wish I had one of those karaoke machines that strips the vocals from songs, so you can sing along. I would do this to most of the songs by Guns N' Roses. Axl's hoarse screeching ruins them. The other parts are all good.

Axel, Dylan, and squish-face... (er.. Tom Petty) all have that wonderful quality that, as lead singers, almost anyone can sing better than them, so their songs are fair game for karaoke.

It doesn't work (unless someone knows some tricks). It takes all the depth out of the music. Anything past half the vocal level and it sounds like the band recorded inside a cracker box. Thanks anyway!
