I've been going downhill for the last week or so, but the charge finally ran out completely. I feel really brain-dead. No memory or concentration. Exhausted, and I didn't do anything. Cyn wanted help on the next step of her mandolin, and I don't feel up to it. I don't want to risk it. None of the items on my to-do list are ones I really want to try right now either.
Except the leaves. I had planned on raking leaves tonight. On saturday afternoon, the forecast said there would be a slight chance of light rain around 1 AM this morning. We had fog and drizzle all day, and now it's raining. I took the day off work last tuesday. The only day last week without wind was friday, and I had totally forgotten I needed to watch for a time to burn them. And it rained before I thought to put a tarp over them. Now we've got rain through friday. I sure hope I'm not stuck with them like I was last year. I really want a garden next year.

Date: 2007-11-20 06:55 pm (UTC)From:That's exactly the thing that upsets me the most. Having a task, and not doing it until it's too late. That's what happened with the leaves. Not only was I not trying to find time to take care of them, but I never put a tarp over them to keep them dry for burning, even though I thought of it. Man, that pisses me off.
Sorry to hear about your chimney leaking. That would have put me right over the edge.
