The temp was in the mid seventies, and it was sunny and breezy. Nothing like the 50 and raining we had, earlier in the week. A good day for a picnic and a walk in the park. Fortunately, that was what was planned (about a month ago). We went out to Nashotah Park, in Waukesha County with Doug & Susan and Drew and Felissa. And this weekend happened to be the peak for fall color around here.

For lunch, I had a sandwich, crackers & hummus and carrots & guacamole. And then followed that up with sandwich cookies, dark chocolate malted milk balls, dark chocolate, milk chocolate with almonds, and some almonds. Ugh. My stomach wasn't right after that.

After the picnic, Drew & Felissa left, since Drew was recovering from pneumonia and wasn't up for a walk. He sounded out of breath by the time we got back to the cars. The rest of us took a couple-mile walk. It was gorgeous. The ride home (sitting in the back seat) didn't help my stomach any. I still don't feel 100%.

But here's a picture...

What a glorious HUGE oak tree. I´m finally getting to see some good old midwestern fall color.
