And then I listened to Roxy Music, Dink, Foreigner, Iron Butterfly (the album version of "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida," plus the live version and the single version), Alice In Chains, the Velvet Goldmine soundtrack and the Lost Highway soundtrack.

I've never seen that last movie, but this soundtrack is a fine record. David Bowie, Nine Inch Nails, Angelo Badalamenti, Lou Reed, Marilyn Manson and Antonio Carlos Jobim (bossanova) go together really well. Didn't much care for the Rammstein, though.

Edit:
And then on sunday, I listened to Songs in the Key of X (music from and inspired by and inspiring The X Files), Adrian Belew's Sides One, Two and Three, and a mix that Piperdawn sent me.

Having just for me music time is essential in our house. Makes me smile that you're enjoying it!

Cyn's on the road home. She has surprise for you :-)

Our tastes in music overlap so much, that the greater pleasure is being able to play it at whatever volume I want, whenever I want.

Thank you! Did I tell you the story about wanting trillium for all these years?

If you did, I didn't remember that :-) Tell me the story now!

It came up in conversation, hmm, I don't remember where we were, but I said, "I'VE got trillium for Kevin!" I was very excited about sharing it.

And then, this morning, I said to Cyn, "Now, what was it that I want to send home for Kevin?" Thankfully she remembered. After all, she is the younger one.

Not much of a story. I've just wanted some forever. But I did mention it here:

Now I have to find a place for them. :-)

Which movie? ...Oh, "Lost Highway"? I was just talking about it with James the other night as he was enjoying Dennis Hopper in "Blue Velvet". I like "Lost Highway" and "Velvet Goldmine" :) ...What? Oh, you don't care. How rude of you to say! ;)

Oh yeah. That one.

Of course I care! You like a lot of movies.
