it's cold, dammit!

The vent over my head pumps out a lot of air. It feels like there's a fan blowing directly on me. I don't have enough hair on my head to keep me warm. I don't get to the point of shivering, so even though I am cold, I know the cold doesn't bother me as much as the draft.

I got outside, and was disappointed that it was only about 72°. It felt warmer, though, because the sun was out. I didn't roll the windows down in the car. I just let the heat sink into my bones. And like a lizard on a rock, I set my hand down on the center console, where it was *really* hot. My mouse hand usually gets colder than the rest of me.

Can't the building maintenance people do something about the vent. In the Milk of Magnesium building they either set up shunts, or we just stood on something and did it.

Yesterday, I asked maintainance if they could put up some kind of deflector. Maybe in a week or two...
