I was in the basement, and I found a couple of boxes marked "comic books." I knew I had them, but I'd forgotten what was in them. Man...

The Maxx, Greateful Dead Comix, Scout, Kabuki, Xenozoic Tales. I think those are all full sets. I also apparently have a bunch of Jonah Hex, XXXenophile, Alien, Paranoia, TMNT.. who knows what else. And a beat up assortment of '70s era stuff - Spiderman and the like. I wonder if any of it is worth anything. I wonder if it's musty smelling from the basement. I should probably figure out what I want to keep and unload the rest soon.

And then there are all my Star Trek toys. Probably not worth much. No, not much. I wonder what else I have that's potentially worth something (as opposed to being simply worthless crap).

Sounds like some pretty cool stuff! I don't know much about collectibles, but if you've got a Georgie LaForge action figure with a removable visor then it's worth quite a bit, since the visor was a choking hazard that they had to discontinue a short time into the production run.

Ahem. Geeks of the world unite!

Wow, that should say "Geordie." You'll have to excuse me. I'm about due to get my geek license renewed.

I don't think I have any of the very first ones. I've got the Geordie with the visor glued on, though. I need to catalog the action figures. Or maybe donate them to Goodwill. I checked ebay, and I don't think any of them had any bids. Not sure if any of the early ones were in there, though.

Unload?

Can I call dibs on the Maxx stuff? Will pay market price, yes yes!

Hmm. Maxx is probably the last thing I'd get rid of. Sorry. But I'll let you know if I ever decide to get rid of it or any of the other stuff.

Hah, then you can understand why I'd have to try!

<3 Maxx!

Yeah. :-)

I've got a bunch of related stuff, like The Maxx vs. The Hulk, and the Gen13 crossover, and Friends of the Maxx. And the action figure. I've really got to dig that stuff out.

I'd be interested in knowing exactly what Spidey you have, conditions, etc. I'm not a collector in the auction house sense, but if you have some older stuff, even a little beaten up and not too mildewy, they might be nice to have...so if you happen to catalog what you have and want to send that info thisaway, lemme know.

The only thing I know about it is that I don't have many issues that come in series with each other. But I'll let you know.

I saw that one last night too! No, I'll be keeping that one. I need to find a few more from the set.
