Sounds fair. Seems to address my main complaints - that journals could be gone forever without warning, review or chance to correct.

It still represents a significant change in LJ's working policy.

For years, Brad (who was on vacation when all this went down, by the way) has held the position that, while the information my be provided to and usable by law enforcement, it's not LJ's place to punish people for talking about activities that may or may not be criminal in any specific place.

A lot of the journals that got hit were dealing strictly with fictional accounts, for various reasons, and up to this point, fictional accounts of criminal activities are not illegal.
