more dessert?

I've lost a lot of weight over the last year or more. Fifteen pounds in a year and a half, IIRC. That's a couple of inches around the waist. I had to get rid of or put away some clothes that I can no longer wear. So Cyn and I were joking that I need to bulk up...

The weekend before last, when our friends came to dinner, they brought a frozen Sara Lee chocolate pie. Every ingredient in it was either fat or sugar. There's still some of that left. Cyn and I had grasshoppers on friday night. There's still some ice cream left. Then we had cake at my mom's yesterday. Today she called and said I should stop over and pick up some of the leftover cake. Okay. When I got there, not only did she give us the entire rest of the cake, but she had an entire bucket of cookies for us. She bakes chocolate chip cookies in mass quantities. She handed me a five-quart pail that was mostly full. I didn't finish the ones she gave me last time (I think they're stale enough to throw away now). I guess the Girl Scout cookies are going to stay in the freezer for a while.

I used to have a very active job. I gained a lot of weight when I got a new job at a desk. I tried to change my eating habits at the time, but I didn't change them quickly enough.

i don't see how you can afford to lose that much weight! ...what is "IIRC", please? man, you can have some of the bulk I'VE added lately! i'll email it to ya.
