global warming and politics

The industrialization of China is probably the biggest threat to the global environment. I wonder if we could have gotten China to participate in reducing it's pollution. You'd think Bush would have been all over that, in hopes that it would slow down their growth, and make them less of a threat to our economy.

Oh yeah, his buddies in big-business rely on China to put out cheap goods. Screw our economy.

Once again the almighty God Dollar pounds the pulpit. Someone should point out to them that you can't breathe money, and that the earth has a way of sloughing off what irritates it.
