FrantiĊĦek Fajtl was a Czechoslovakian figher pilot. He escaped the country when it was Annexed by Germany. He lived in France, and flew for them briefly in 1940, until France was forced to surrender. After that, he made his way to England, where he flew for the RAF from 1941 to 1944. Then he led a squadron of Czech pilots in the Soviet Untion from mid-1944 to early 1945. He died on October 4th.
