But, seriously, you can't take blankets and still go camping? Is it that cold already??? Fall camping is awesome.

I was in Boy Scouts for twenty years, and we most often went in the spring and fall. So while I'm used to camping in the cold, I've had my fill of it. And when it's cold, you have to do more, to compensate for it, and I just don't want to work that hard right now.

Early fall is nice, but we're heading into the cold, rainy fall. Forty, windy and raining is not my idea of a good time - even if I'm watching it through windows.

Not only that, but the spouse is not up for it.
