Cat!

There's a kitten outside. It seems to be lost. It's just standing there mewing. Loudly. It's outside the patio doors in the family room, and I can hear it in the office, in the back of the house.

Escher freaks out when she sees other cats. She starts moaning, really loudly. And drooling. She gets upset and may attack you, if you get too close. She hissed at the kitten once, through the glass.

The kitten saw another cat - Escher - and came up to the glass. Half an hour later, we were able to lock Escher in the basement, and the kitten is still out there. Still mewing. She wants her mommy, I guess.

You don't know the gender of your baby? I can't tell you how many times that happened with my children. ;-D

You should come and get him/her before he/she drives Escher completely insane.

That's how Yakkitty came into our lives. He was so tiny and so hungry. His mama was dead and he was alone. He had been trying to survive on bugs and worms. So tender-hearted Ray gave him some baloney. He was so starved he ate it all, then was sick because it wasn't right for his baby tummy. It took us about two seconds to fall in love. The rest is history.

Maybe this kitty needs a home?
