Yesterday, we helped our friends Doug and Susan move. They got married a couple of months ago, and just bought a house. Nice little place. I'm happy for them. Susan was stressed to the breaking point a few times. I guess Doug had to leave today, for the week. Not a good thing, but you do what you gotta do.

Yesterday evening, we lounged around a lot.

Today, we went for a walk at Lion's Den. It was wet. It rained today, for the first time in a couple of weeks. Took some pictures, before the battery died.

After that, we went shopping and bought a gas grill. It took me a while to assemble it. Not that it was that difficult, but I'm slow - I mean, deliberate. A friend was surprised I'd switch over to the dark side, being a grilling purist. The thing is, wood fires are a pain to get just right. And once you've crossed over to charcoal, you might as well go all the way. I wanted a Weber. They seemed like they'd be high quality, and be American made. I ended up saving a couple hundred dollars, by buying a Canadian make. It was made in China, but I didn't check where the Webers are made. I soothed my conscience by buying from a locally owned (franchised) store, rather than Home Depot.

Didn't do much after supper. putzed around outside a little bit. Spent a few minutes cleaning up in the basement. We've got a lot of work to do before our party. Only three weeks left! We've got a lot of cleaning to do. We had planned on doing most of it on the weekends, but the weekends keep coming and going, and we don't cross anything off the list.

I think I'll file some papers.
