Mississippi's assault on sex

In Mississippi, it is now illegal to sell sex toys. But not just any kind of sex toy, "any three-dimensional device designed or marketed as useful primarily for the stimulation of human genital organs.”

Why?

Apparently, genitals are only to be stimulated by one's lawfully wedded, spouse (of the opposite sex), and only for the purpose of procreation. Which of course, limits orgasm only to males. Yes, I'm aware that they did not outlaw masturbation in general, but I'm sure they would have if it were possible.

You know, I'll bet there's a fair number of people in the Mississippi state legislature who lobbied long and hard to make sure that the word "human" was included in the phrasing of the law.

I had no idea that states in USA can come out with legislation that is so retrograde. will these be a subject matter of higher scrutiny.
