So we're sitting there at the hockey game (Mke Admirals, IHL), and they do this "keep you eyes on the puck at all times" announcement, so people don't get hurt. Dave says, "oh yeah, like you'd really have time to react." Not five seconds later a puck gets lobbed over the glass at us. We both deflected it - which was the wrong move, since it would have been an easy catch. Our buddies down the row were yelling "sieve!" at us.
We were down in the corner near the goal, where all the die hards sit. It was like Rocky Horror - all the lines yelled out on cue.
"HOW MUCH TIME IS LEFT?"
"There is one minute remaining in the period."
"THANK YOU!"
"~Eeeeeeeel~liott! [the Aero's goalie] ~Eeeeeeeel~liott! ~Eeeeeeeel~liott! YOU SUCK!!!"
"I'M BLIND! I'M DEAF!
I WANNA BE A REF!"
