Grandma

My Grandma moved back into her apartment. We're a little worried about her. They never did determine what caused her to pass out. It hasn't happened in a couple of weeks, though.

Just before she moved back, she fell. She hit her head, and put a gash in her arm. She says she still feels unsteady.

There is a new assisted living facility opening up, near her, in July. She was in the nursing home for a few weeks, and now she's back in her apartment in the senior place. They offer very little assistance there - mostly just lunch and some activities. So this new place would be in between. We all think that would be the place for her. She can take care of herself, for the most part, but she needs someone to look in on her regularly, just in case. I hope she thinks about it.

You must be worried all the time....
Does she have friends at her apartment that can sit with her...or at least check in on her?

lives in an assisted living facility for 9 months of the year and then moves back to her house for 3 months in the summer when people will be around on a daily basis....i think she enjoys not having to cook meals, but she looks forward to her time back on the bluff in Kenai overlooking the Inlet....
