call for backup!

I just deleted my entire section of the network. And the administrator says his backup of yesterday failed. If the previous day's backup is there, I don't think I'll have lost much. I think everything I've worked on today and yesterday was done and moved out.

I was doing a purge, but I hit the delete button by accident. Well, I just spaced out. I had done that two or three times before. I have gotten pretty good about watching what I'm doing, but I've been pretty out of it today.

It's amazing to me that they let something that major be that easy to do accidentally. It should at least give you one of those, "Are you sure you want to do that??" messages.

I overheard my boss today asking one of our reps if he had any complaints about me. She told him that a few reps and dealers had already comlained. I haven't even done any customer service work for at least 6 weeks because we have to change 600 bikes from 18 speeds to 21 speeds. So if she's trying to dig up complaints on me now, she's just trying to get rid of me.

I don't think I lost anything. Of course, I may be in for a rude awakening in a day or two.

That sucks. It kind of makes you wonder why she's going through all that work of trying to dredge up complaints. That stuff is so weak, that she might as well make stuff up. Good luck.
