Several people on my friends page have mentioned celebrities they have met, so I thought I'd join in and mention the famous people that I've met.

Um... I saw Ernest Borgnine in a parade, once. I don't think he saw me, though. That doesn't count, does it?

Umm... How about those hundreds of concerts I've seen? No? Hm.

I guess that's it, then. Nobody. As far as I know!

On the same day in 1996 I shook Bill Clinton's hand, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein and George Miller. If the Secret Service hadn't pushed me out of the way, I'd have shook Al Gore's hand too. It was a campaign rally in Concord.

You need to move to where the celebs visit, if you want to see them! Or, you could also open a retreat that celebs want to visit... Get that spa going!

I almost fell on top of John Aston once. You know. The guy who played Gomez in The Adams Family? His wife Patti Duke was somewhere around too, but I didn't fall on her. And I talked to Ozzie Osbourn.

I met Walt Cunningham of Apollo 7 two summers ago, as well as Bill Nye The Science Guy. I've also met a couple of DJ's from SF's KFOG (and was on the air for about 10 seconds). :-)

Oh! That reminds me! I met Beakman...remember him from the kids' science show "Beakman's World"? That was cool.

I was sitting in the Pfister lobby once, waiting for a bus to the airport, and I saw Ernest Borgnine and a group near me. He didn't look at me either.

I guess I'll have to settle for speaking to Mr. Rogers (and King Friday) and the guy who used to play Mannix.

I have to admit... i've not heard much of Beakman's World. If I reach far back into memory, there was a guy called Mr. Wizard... but those memories are very dim.

You're right about that - if you don't go where the celebs are, you won't see them. I wasn't complaining, exactly. It just seemed that by now, I would have crossed paths with someone.

The Pfister is where most celebrities stay when they're in town.

Mr. Rogers is cool.
