I guess I'm finally over the illness. A week long, like I expected. Got through the Christmas chaos yesterday with little trouble. It was with dad and stepmom's families. Five noisy and coughing kids, and two younger quieter ones. It was in Marsha and Dave's basement rec room, which was nice, but a little small. We'll be having next year's get-together at our house. We have a lot more space than they do, so I hope it works well. Got a bottle of Dewar's Special Reserve (Scotch), and I hope to sample it soon - I've been off alcohol for a bit. We gave my dad four miniature bottles of Scotch, two of which he was very happy to recieve. Bruichladdich and Glenfarclas 105 (cask strength) are very high on his list.

Tonight is a little get together with some old family friends. I've got a lot of work to do before then, including shopping for a gift, and cleaning the house (just in case they want to come here afterwards to see our house).
