One of Cindy's cats is fading away. She hasn't eaten in days. She doesn't seem to have drunk water in a couple, either. She lies limp on the floor, staring. Then she struggles to her feet, walks unsteadily until her hind legs give up and she slumps to the floor. She seems mildly interested in going somewhere else, but that's about it. It's so sad.

She's nineteen years old. She's been on a decline for a while now, but very steeply since last tuesday or wednesday. I think she's gotten to the point where she doesn't feel the need to stick around any more.

When I saw that photo yesterday it really broke my heart. I thought about Cyn and her kitty all day. Hugs to both of you.

Sounds like kidney failure, most likely, or a variation. 19 is a pretty old cat. Blessings. I know how hard it is. I know, I know.

((big hugs)) to both Cyn and you. Everything else I could think to say has been said above.
