I took the afternoon off to wait for the garage door repariman. He showed up at 1:50. I got here at 2:00. I told them when I called to set this up that I wouldn't be there until after 2:00, but that part of the message didn't get through to the tech. We're going to try again on friday, but we're going to leave the garage unlocked for him until Cyn can show up.

Still haven't heard about the countertop installation. Their week-to-ten-days was up last week.

The quote for the kitchen floor came in several hundred dollars more than expected. Of course I bought it because we're running out of time. Probably very stupid of me.

Every time we've had to hire anyone for this house, it's turned out to be a disaster.

I'm having trouble breathing today.

Up here in the mountains we've learned the contractors are nortoriously unreliable. Took them nine months to build our house when it should have taken three. So RTM and I sympathize. In spades.
