Rumsfeld admitted responsibility on some level for the Iraqi prison abuses. Bush says Rummy is doing a great job and he's very happy with his performance.
Bush will pay the price for his misplaced loyalty. If he were running the country like a true MBA, he woulda said "Sorry Don, sorry Dick, I gotta let y'all go. This isn't anything pursonal, mind you; it's just a business decision."
Not surprising. After all, just a few months ago, Rumsfeld was over in Afghanistan congratulating Abdul Rashid Dostum on the "good job" he was doing with the prison we gave him to turn into a torture chamber. Should it be shocking in light of this that Dubya would be congratulating Rumsfeld on the torture chamber we're running?
I'm sorry. Let me come to your house. Burn it down. Rape you. And then beat you to death. Then we can talk torture. Given the circumstances, I think that he had a quite merciful death.
