I called my dad today, since it is his birthday. He told me that when he went to get his building permit, they said he can't build the garage addition for his gallery/studio space. It's too big. But if enough neighbors allow it, the town board might grant him a variance to build.
He also said that grandma is not doing very well. In general.
And my mom told me that her sister-in-law, Emily, died. It was rather a surprise. She had spots in her lungs, but Emily said she was feeling much better after she started chemotherapy. I'll have to drive her to the funeral either near Detroit early in the week, or in Tennessee late in the week.
But I bought some new CD's so I'm feeling a bit better right now. :-\
