I really didn't expect it to take more than one day. Not too long afte we started, I realized it would take two days, but even after we started today, I didn't dream that we wouldn't finish. It's all done except for a dormer. I guess I'll have to plan on finishing it up next sunday. I'd like to give it a shot during the week, but it is supposed to be rainy.

did you rent a coil nailer?

i'd never do a roof over a couple hundred square feet without using an air nailer.....it's simply amazing how much time and effort they save....

I own one. It would've taken weeks otherwise.

It was so time consuming because of all the time we spent just moving around up there. The roof was so steep, we had to use roof jacks, and therefore install them and remove them, and climb up to them, and get shingles up there.
