Do you ever watch television critically? All of it? Or do you watch passively, absorbing everything by osmosis? Do you feel as though the events depicted are real? Even on news shows? Are you an advertiser's dream?

Those of you who are hooked on 24 have my permission to tape it and watch it next Monday.

I rarely watch television. I can go for a month, and never even turn it on. Then, I'll watch it every night for a week. It's very sporatic. I find most of the stuff on television these days is trash.

I only watch it when I'm at someone else's house. It amazes me how many people have the TV on for no reason. No good reason, anyway. Like, because it provides bacground noise. Or because they feel it is necessary.

Haven't watched it for two years. HOWEVER.. I miss football, and with the new job I will not be working on sundays.. so I may have to get cable or dish and get sunday ticket this fall.

I'm not an advertiser's dream. I prefer the BBC mainly because there are no ads. The only program I watch regularly is motor racing, and that's usually on video, so I can fast forward through the ads. I'm so well practised that I can count out the time it takes to fast forward through a commercial break and go back to notmal speed just as the racing starts again.

I've seen a couple of episodes of 24, and I can certainly see why people are hooked on it.
