I notice LiveJournal has been very quiet lately.

I suppose there are a lot of reasons for that. It is spring. People are tired of hearing about the war online. People are tired of hearing people talking about the war and politics.

I wonder if people are staying away from my journal, in particular. I'm sure some of them are avoiding me because of my politics, and I can understand that, but I wonder if some people don't talk to me as much, because I don't talk to them as much. Sometimes I'll get a lot of comments to a post, and I don't respond to any of them. I want you all to know that I do appreciate all of your comments.

There are many reasons why I might not say anything. Sometimes I just don't know what to say. Sometimes I simply agree, and there's nothing to say. Sometimes it seems like a waste to comment with "yeah," or "LOL!" I know it isn't a waste, but I still can't get myself to make such comments.

Please tell yourself that I have read your comments, that I do appreciate them, and that I do find them funny (when appropriate ;-) ).

There honestly seems to be some to this going around. You're like the third person on my Friends list to comment on how quiet it's been and if people are avoiding your journal. I've felt the exact same way, but I've been too chicken shit to post anything about it. I think I will now. I read you, buddy--and I love your pictures.
