If I understand this correctly, this means that former armed service personnel will still get more help than people from other professions in similar circumstances, but not as much more as previously. I'm not sure why they should get any extra help. I can feel some people starting to hate me now, so I should remind anyone reading this that I live in a country with free universal medical care, so I don't see why people who weren't in the services should be treated *less* well than those who weren't.
I don't think that I expressed myself too well in the previous paragraph. My point is that everyone should be treated equally.
Personally, I'd like to see free medical care here, so if one group gets it, I have a little trouble arguing against it. People who have served in the armed services have always been guaranteed certain benefits, like money for college, or health care. I'm really not sure what the conditions are that they recieve these, like having to have a certain amount of time served, or what.
thanks for the link
