There is little doubt that "we" will win Iraq, but we will likely lose most of the the civilized world.

How to tell if we're winning the war
We get rid of those weapons of mass destruction, of course. That's why we are at war. Of course, we don't know where the weapons are, and the inspectors couldn't find them, so this could be quite a long war. Perhaps we'll just topple that Saddam bloke and forget about the weapons. Oh, dear. It's not so easy to finish a war as start one. I wish we'd thought about this before.
