I got my vinyl floor down. Not well. I laid it down badly, once I had the glue down. It fit poorly around the edges, and it was a royal pain in the ass, but the worst part is that I got glue on top that I couldn't get off, so now there are spots on top.

Is this like the tile thing where I won't be able to see what's wrong...or is it really bad and has to be redone?

I'm not sure how obvious the spots are. Yu definitely have to be looking at the floor.

I know from past experience that there is something that will take the glue off - but for the life of me I cannot think of what it is called right now. If you were to ask at a flooring store or a place like Home Depot, I think they'd be able to steer you to what you need. Don't take no for an answer - it can be done. I've done it.

Yeah, I imagine so. But it looks like the glue has dissolved some of the finish, so I'll have to see about making it shiny again. Come to think of it, I don't even really know how to care for it. Thanks!
