They screwed something up at the factory. There was a piece of plastic stuck in there that was crossing an o-ring. This created a path for water. Funny, it says "factory water tested" on the box.

But I've discovered another leak. The shutoff for the toilet has a small leak. I'm not sure what to do about this one, except to shut off the water and turn it on only long enough to take a shower. PitA. That is only for the next couple of weeks, until I get the floor put in. I don't want to put a new valve in, only to take it out then.

where does the valve leak?.........the stem seal?.......sometimes they can be fixed by gently tightening.......
