I went to dinner and the comedy club last night, with some friends. Steve and Suzanne invited a few of us out. They invited this girl, Holly, along for Dave's benefit. She's chain smoking and talking about getting her snowmobile ready for the winter. Dave's talking about Kitty, this girl he met at Fanny's (one of the more notorious lesbian bars), Kitty. Kitty, who lives on the corner of bad and worse sometimes, with her grandma who sells drugs (Dave says he was there one morning, and was walking through the house, stepping over sleeping bodies), and Holly has this creeped out look on her face, like, "you didn't know she does drugs? Oh my god." She kept going on about it too. I finally had to say that I met her and it wasn't like she was all strung out or anything. I wouldn't characterize her as an addict. Anyway, Dave and Holly were not very compatible. It was kind of funny.
