I had a conversation with a coworker last week. The first part was where he brought up the "liberal media." Which is a myth. After we were done with that part, he brought up an article he read in Reader's Digest.

Considering that that particular magazine is one of the few publications that immediately comes to my mind when I try to name one that leans either way, I thought his juxtaposition was pretty funny.

Funny. i've been talking to a coworker too who doesn't believe me when I say that the Media is really very conservative: they're all owned by large corporations and they all fear the kind of change our society really needs. And yeah, Reader's Digest is one of the most conservative magazines...

And RD is a magazine that reaches a HUGE segment of the population.

I was talking with a friend last week, whose uncle is a college professor, and who has done tons of research to prove the non-existence of the liberal media.
