If you remember that grass fire I posted about last month...
A green 2000 Ford Expedition was driving westbound very slowly when it backfired several times. Flames shot from the exhaust pipe and ignited the long grass in the ditches. Dodge County authorities located the vehicle west of Hartford, where the vehicle had been completely destroyed after catching fire.
Eleven fire departments were called out. There were several large fires on the northern side of Highway 60, stretching from Horns Corners Road to around Church road in the town of Jackson.
