Are you aware of the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas?

I think it is a very bad thing. I think NAFTA was one of the worst things to happen to our nation and continent ever.

Did you know that under NAFTA, you can be sued by a foreign company for damages, if you do anything that costs it money? Liek, if it is dumping toxic waste on some nearby land, and you stop them, they can sue you to compensate them for the loss of the land? Or if you convince your government that their products are harmful and get them banned when scientific evidence is less than conclusive, they can sue you for loss of revenue?

I have seen nothing in NAFTA that actually helps a small company in the US do business outside the US border. Most times I believe that the F in NAFTA stands for "f*cked"......(pardon the expression)

That's something that crossed my mind. Even our company is not in a position to take advantage of it.

our company is lots smaller than yours.....and we have a canadian affiliate that was started up before NAFTA....since NAFTA, we haven't had any easier time dealing with clients in Canada.......in fact, it seems more difficult
