I took a half day of vacation.
First, I worked a little overtime. I left at 2:00.
Then I got my car washed.
Then I raked leaves. Wow, that was hard work. I've never had so many leaves. I almost got a blister.
Then I changed my oil. I don't think I'll be doing that again. I used to do it myself because it was cheap. then I started taking it in sometimes, because I didn't want to change my oil in the winter. Then I started taking it in more often because they did a better job - more thorough. This time, the oil and filter cost me $13, and it took me 45 minutes. I can pay about twice that much, do no work, and have it done in half the time. And they check other things besides the oil.
After that, I filled up the tank (for $23!) and stopped by my mom's to help her with her snow blower. She gave me supper. I was going to stop by the gallery and visit my dad, but I had forgotten that he's closed during the week now.
Now I'm caught up on LiveJournal. I wonder what else I can accomplish tonight.
UPDATE:
I partially cleaned the bathroom, partially cleared my kitchen table and partially updated my checkbook. Now i'm online again, but soon I'm going to read a book.
