So I'm sitting here at the computer, and I hear a siren. But it's not flying by, it's staying outside my door. And going off in short bursts and changing. So I look out and there's a parade. A police car, The ladder truck and the high school band. It's homecoming weekend. There was a whole line of convertibles with the homecoming court. I should have gone out and asked them for some tootsie rolls. The really fun part was that I could only see about a dozen people lining the curbs and cheering them on. Whoopee.
