If Al-qaida attacks U.S. interests, what effect do you think it will have on Bush's efforts to wage war on Iraq?

negatively. it will nail his poll numbers by showing how ineffective TWAT is, and, if it presents a clear target, it will redirect our military elsewhere.

it certainly depends upon whether or not iraq had anything to do w/the funding or support of a new attack. . . if they didn't have anything to do with it - targets would definately be directed elsewhere.. if they did, war.

I think you're right. I just hope that we will learn the truth about who was behind any such attacks.
