Many users report problems with the 1.4.6 version of the downloadable Visions client. If you cannot log in using the 1.4.6 version of the client, visit lj_win32 for information on how to download the latest version (which does not have this problem), choose an alternate client from the download page, or use the web update page to update your journal.

That's what I did, and it is working well. I'm a little disappointed at how large that client is. I liked the small size of the window of the old one. I could hide it in the corner of my screen. Now it just seems like too much of a hassle to close all those optional parts and reopen them when I need them.
