I went to Toys R Us last night, to get something for my little buddy Will. I can't remember how long it'd been since I was last there. First of all, that had to be there first time I'd ever been there and hadn't found any Star Trek stuff. They had quite a lot of stuff that surprised me. Crocodile Hunter action figures. Muppet 25th anniversary action figures (but all they had was Kermit). Spiderman Action Hero figures, where he is dressed up in various outfits - over his spandex costume - like soccer player and firefighter and I forget what else. The Matrix action figures (how long has that movie been out? Oh yeah, they're gearing up for the new one). The Road Warrior action figures. E.T. action figures. Then there were the Addams Family Barbies...

I got a motorized bulldozer.

For some reason, this just made me really sad...

They do have the widest selection, and I really didn't know what I was going to get the boy. And I thought it was a good opportunity to see what is out there nowdays.

I prefer to get children toys that require them to use their imagination, but I do think some of those action figures are cool.
