We all had a good time.
How’s that?
Okay, Michelle and Brian were good hosts. We went to M’s favorite place, The King and I, for some Thai food. We saw the rhymes-with-blocker art museum and sculpture garden. M posed for us by some DIY snow sculptures. I forgot my camera, so we had to make do with M’s Polaroid, and Cyn’s point & shoot. :-( I mean, Polaroids are fun, but with all the great scenery and sunlight and friends I felt kind of lost without my camera (and I won't bore you with the list of eveything else I forgot to bring). Burgers at Joe’s garage (but I didn’t get to have the Lagavulin there - though the Balvennie 21 yr. at King & I was good). We ate toasted peanut butter and banana sammidges at Michelle’s tiny but charmingly cluttered apartment. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about the toasting part, but they were very good. Let’s see... what else... Johnny the Homicidal maniac comic books. (Hey, I forgot, I was going to play a couple hands of Lunch Money with you!) We walked. A lot. In the cold. The first night was exceedingly cold. After that, it was just cold enough to numb the ears. We walked to the K & I (twice), to the Rhymes-With, to the drugstore, to Joe’s, to several closed restaurants. Today’s walk was the nicest, because it was not-so-cold, and we got to see all the nice architecture. Minneapolis is a pretty city. So even thought it took us half an hour to find someplace to eat that was open, it was a nice walk. I learned that I have a really cool hat.
And we got to hear the Accordion of Doom. When Michelle said she was a really bad accordion player, she lied. She is *no* accordion player.
And the trees were beautifully coated with a thick layer of frost, for part of the trip home.

We got lost on the way into Michelle's part of town.
And we played with Sid the Squishy Gargoyle, and Squeeky, the skeleton what Squeeks, and medieval weaponry and hats.
And I made you walk in the snow...
Signorina Pipistrella, practicing "In-a-gadda-da-vida" for your delectation...this could take a while.

Hey, ae you having troubles at all with the livejournal thing? I can't update--keep getting an "invalid password" thing when I do it, even though I'm logged in and can check the recent stuff and friend's pages and so on. I sent off a thing to the support guys so they can have a look...it's one of those "Is it just me?" moments:)
Ms Eff, can't update! *sobbity sob!*
