I was in Subway getting a sandwich. They have a bulletin board on the wall where poeple tack up their business cards or whatever, hoping for some business. There was almost nothing on it - I'd guess because there were only two tacks. One item was a card for an army recruiter. The other was a gift card for $50, for Blockbuster (or was it Best Buy?). Fifty dollars?! And it was just hanging there on the wall by the door! I know people are mostly nice, here in this somewhat small town, but that still surprises me.
