Grandma is doing better today. Dad says she is getting into her wheelchair on her own. She is still a little bit out of it, but it's probably the meds.
They still haven't run the tests. They think the reason she had to go on the breathing machine (not exactly life-support) is that she wasn't swallowing right and got too much fluid in her lungs.
I haven't spoken with my dad yet, and the tests aren't done, but right now I feel optimistic. that she'll be back nearly to normal. She will probably have to go into rehab. If she is rehabbing, she won't have to go to a nursing home, and can stay at her apartment (it is a complex for seniors).
