best man

My best friend is getting married. Last weekend, Cyn and I were wondering when. I know he wanted to get married before the baby came, and that's in April. I assumed I would be the best man/witness, so I was kind of curious when the wedding would be. He called a little while ago, saying he wanted to ask me in person, but he hasn't had a chance. I've been pretty busy myself, so I doubt if I'd have been around when he was, anyway. The marriage will take place a week from friday. That's the day of the Arlo Guthrie show. Fortunately, it won't be a big reception, just a dinner for a few of the closest friends and family. Maybe we won't miss much of the show.

I think anyone who wants to plan a wedding in two weeks is a masochist. Yeeeeiiikkkes. And, I would be unhappy about missing any part of an Arlo Guthrie concert. :( But.... being the best man is kind of special! ;)

Well, planning this one wasn't really too tough. It's a courthouse ceremony, and then dinner for 20. ;-)
