2000 sucked

I can unequivocally say that it was my worst year ever.

I know there are some of you out there that are saying, "but you met me! Doesn't that count?" Well, yes and no.

Yes, that was great. Yes, it helped me get through this very bad year.

No, because it was still my worst year ever.

No, because when I look back, December was only a part of 2000.

Besides, we're only just getting going.

And I can also say unequivocally, that 2001 will be my best year ever.


I know there are friends out there who are not having an easy time of it, right now. At the risk of repeating myself, I direct you to my post of 12/25 called "This means you."

I'm glad to hear that you expect good things from the new year. I've heard a number of people express optimism about 2001.
