Probably a large percentage of that garbage was mine. I think I fill up a bag every one to two days. Sometimes 3 in one day, like I did Monday...or was that yesterday?
but do the garbage trucks plow and pick up at the same time?.......where do they plow the snow to?.....do they have gates so they don't fill driveways?......it's still unfathomable that a garbage truck driver can plow snow
in the civilized world, they use gates on the end of the snow blade that holds the snow as you pass a driveway.....drop the gate as the plow starts by a driceway and then open the gate at the other side of the driveway.......the gates are hydraulic.....does help to make life simpler for the taxpayer.......because if you can't shovel that berm right after it's plowed up, it freezes and turns to a concrete-like substance
most of the snow plowing here is performed by graders......lots of graders
well, my road was plowed early this morning.........and there is no berm at my driveway.......otherwise, the snow berm is a couple of feet high.......so yes, the gates work.....
