I try to keep faith in humanity, but it's people like this that try me.

Some people are just so far removed from reality, it makes my jaw drop.

(This guy is a friend of a friend. I've met him and he seems reasonably intelligent.)

Lots of people are shutting down emotionally...others are emotionally charged. I spent the day with one of my dearest friends, who is very intelligent. She works in the WTC here, and now after many evacuations this week (besides Tuesday), she's just shut down.

I've had to learn patience and just like I want our leaders to listen, I've had to do the same. Some people can't handle this, K. Everyone has different levels of what they need to do to continue to function......

Yes, I understand that. I've seen them lashing out with anger. I try to be at least a little respectful of them.
