kitchen remodel 36
Oct. 1st, 2021 11:23 pmCabinetry is done (except for the drawer pulls, which go in on Monday). Crown molding and everything. The molding on the floor looks good. Kinda holds down the vinyl like the flooring guys said it would.
My plan was to install the microwave tonight, so I could do the tile bright and early tomorrow, so I could do the grout early on Sunday, because I'm having gaming here on Sunday night. The microwave didn't go so well. I got anchors for the drywall. They had to be short because it's in front of a pocket door. Apparently they're too small because the screws stripped out (make more holes!). And the mounting bracket doesn't seem to work. All the Whirlpool microwaves use this bracket, so it has to be right. I'm just not sure how it's supposed to look.
So now I've got to fuck around with that in the morning. Hopefully I can get started early and have it work out easily.
