long weekend
Jul. 25th, 2021 10:04 pmI had Friday off, so Thursday seemed like Friday, Friday seemed like Saturday, Saturday seemed like Saturday, and Sunday didn't entirely feel like a Sunday.
On Thursday night, Cindy had a show opening. She was featured in a nearby artist showcase. It was a good show. And it made it seem like a Friday night.
Friday I intended to run a bunch of errands and generally get things done. I only got a few done. Got my car washed. Did a little yard work. Went for a walk at the park, about 2.5 miles. In the evening, we went to Summer Sounds, in the park, to see my nephew's band play. They were not bad for a bunch of 18 year olds doing covers of alternative bands. The headliner did all original material, but were not real exciting.
Saturday I was going to do a bunch of yard work. Didn't really do much. In the evening I went out to a friend's place for a whisky tasting. It was good.
Sunday was laid back again, with only some gardening, and a walk with Cindy in the evening.
The weather was good. OK, it was hot, but I stayed out of the sun when it got around 90°. I thought it was pleasant, for the most part.
